This was a pretty fascinating account of the differing objectives of what would be the first air war the world had ever known. Specifically in this case focusing on the battle being waged in the skies during the Battle of Arras. Much of it in the participants own words. These men were on the absolute bleeding edge of technology making up the rules as they went along.

After having the holidays, son’s birthday, and a particularly stubborn case of the annual Winter plague (a tradition I carry with me from my college days sadly). I’m still desperately trying to return to some semblance of schedule. For me it doesn’t take long before I start to feel the rust when I sit at my drawing boards. The likeness studies above certainly bear that truth for me fairly well. As a way to push myself back into a full production schedule I figure I’ll start sharing these process studies and drawings (warts and all) that lead up to a final.
